How to Do a Splits Challenge
This challenge was designed to get you closer to your splits. We want to help you get to your splits, so here’s the plan that will do the trick.
# How To Do The Split
In order to get a good result you must be able to follow these steps:
1. Be patient and dedicated.
2. Warm-up for 5 to 10 minutes and then begin.
3. It’s important that you focus on the full splits at first and get used to them, then keep working on getting better at it.
4. The hardest part is to hold it, so try to get used to it by doing it just a few times a week.
5. This Challenge is for complete beginners. Don’t know how to do splits? Don’t worry, in this plan, you will get started on the right track.
# Warm up for 5 to 10 minutes
After you are done, start the warm-up routine. Before you begin, you will need to perform a few passive stretches. Each time you’ll perform the splits, try to hold the position for 1 minute, repeating it as many times as you can, doing 8 to 12 repetitions for each side.
# The stretches
We chose to put 8 to 12 repetitions for each side since it’s very important to ensure you can do at least that. As you do more, you’ll be able to improve.
There are 2 styles to choose from:
(a) Active
(b) Passive
# Keep practicing
Keep practicing at home until you can do your splits for longer. Just make sure you don’t skip any days.
